Lenovo W500 file option in Outlook 2010 dialog fails on Window 7

I have installed the Office 2010 Professional on Window 7, and I am using Lenovo ThinkPad. After installing it I started Outlook for joining in my Exchange server, and then alter the settings by going in File/option for adjusting it. Till here everything has worked well. After that I have updated Lenovo tools and after updating I have rebooted the system then try to open my Outlook but it is giving me error message "The file does not exist". I just want to know why Lenovo W500 file option in Outlook 2010 dialog fails on Window 7.

Well the problem you are facing is not a big issue; you can solve this issue very easily. Actually the thing is that the "Reminder sound" field in the Advanced tab is empty. You just need to set that to normal windows email notification sound. After that you will not face any problem related to it. One more thing the search add-in is disabled; well there is no specific reason for this.

I am using window 7 Home premium for more than fifteen days and installed Office 2010 beta yesterday. My antivirus is Avast version 5 beta. The problem is that since three days, all incoming mails are in "plain text" and HTML . No way to find the setting, either in Outlook or in the antivirus. It's quite embarrassing, I would think back to the Stone Age! All information related to this will be appreciated.

I am using window 7 62 bit edition and facing a big problem related to Outlook 2010. When I want to synchronize with my iPhone or my android such as this does not work I see the following (well almost) "Outlook is not your default mail client ...." etc and yet it is the default client, I checked everything in the default programs all options relevant to the mall are associated with Outlook. I admit not knowing what to do!!

I am also facing the similar problem and just tried with another session and the same problem. If it helps, my pst file is on a NAS, to use it on multiple microphone. Well, when I connect myself with my laptop which has Outlook 2010 beta it works very well. I also tried declaring windows live mail client by default and then restarting Outlook I ask for more if I want to make it my default client, I said yes, well still the same. I feel I'm going back to Outlook 2010 beta, or even 2007. Besides, another question my pst file is compatible with 2007?

Restart Outlook 2010 beta will be short-lived, until 30/10/2010, but it can help. Copy the pst file Outlook 2010 -> 2007, some people arrived there, some not, and perhaps source solution. is it possible to use Outlook 2007 while continuing to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010? I was able to install the beta version in 2010 while retaining the 2007 version; the choice is to install the beta.
