    Lenovo ThinkPad T61 Base System Device problems on Windows 7 Pro

    I have updated to the Lenovo ThinkPad T61 with the Microsoft updated and after that everything is working fine but when i see into the Device Manager then it is showing the yellow flag on the Base System Device. I am running my system with the Windows 7 Professional. So if you are having the solution then provide the same to me. Thanks in advance.

    I am having an solution of the same which might be helpful for resolving your issue. Just follow the steps given below.

    • Just Click on start
    • Then go to the Control Panel
    • Click on Device And Printer
    • Now Right click on laptop
    • Select Troubleshoot
    • Click on Apply This Fix
    • Now Choose View Solution
    • Click Download Driver from Lenovo Group
    • Now go to Control Panel
    • Then to Device Manager
    • Right click the Base System Device
    • Select Update Driver
    • Select the location

    Thats it!!!!!!

    I have tried this but let me you that this is not completely working for me. I have gone through the step that you have described to me but after following this i have only sorted out my one Base System device problem. One more device is showing the same. So if possible then please let me know about this also. Thanks

    I think you should have to go through the installation of the driver in the same. You might be having the CD come up with the Laptop which is having all the driver of the same. So insert the CD and then install the driver once again. And check the device manager for the error. I hope that you will not get any error on the same.

    Thanks for the help that you are giving me and i have gone through the reply but let me tell you that i have misplaced the CD and not getting the driver for the same. So if possible then let me know from where can i download the driver for the device of mine. A help may be appreciated. Hope to get the solution.

    If you are not getting the driver as you are not having the CD for the same then you can go to the official site of the Lenovo and you will get the driver for your device. All you have to do is to provide some detail about your device and download the driver from there. So go through the same and download the driver.

    I am having a direct link for the download of the Driver for Lenovo ThinkPad T61 which will remove the issue of the Base System Device. All you to do is to check which driver is useful and download the same.Just go through the below given link. Hope you will like it.
