Lenovo T400 ultrabay battery has too many charge cycles.

Somehow, T400s to carry the battery for the first time over the Gulf. Only in extreme bay battery to 0%, the main battery in use. No software or BIOS option to change this. Since the capacity of smaller ultra-bay battery than the main battery, ultra-bay battery charges ultimately more painful than the main one / discharge cycles. For example, I picked up the ultra-bay battery times more than the main one 3 cycles. This imbalance means that I am ultra-bay battery is fully charged capacity of the rapid deterioration of the overall battery life has dropped significantly. Between the two, or more of the main battery to provide more and better load balance, equality, and thus will slow through all the tests. Hence I want to know why Lenovo T400 ultra bay battery has too many charge cycles.

It did so, because you can swap the first run after the Ultrabay battery died. Perhaps this technology will create a headache and a large amount of heat to keep the exchange between the two, which would be very good features, such as control, battery in use. It would be nice, if we choose to associate the custom for the minimum charge threshold to say 20% of the battery switch to add to the longevity of the Ultrabay battery.

The case stability is quite good; there is a magnesium frame inside. The base unit is proving very resilient and as long as you do not enter the cell in the area of the DVD, you will have no problems. The stability of the screen is also very impressive. The screen is fairly flexible, but does not create artifacts. The T500 can be taken by the corner of the screen without problem.

Even if the hinges seem to be small, especially the left one, the use of metal solidifies everything. Therefore, they are very robust and keep the screen fully closed position and allow easy adjustment of the opening angle. With the help of double locking hook and a clamshell design (shell), the screen will always be in safety during transport. The screen is locked by a slider steep slamming when you use it.

The 6 cell battery out of the overall design, which does not in any way limit the opening angle. The laptop Opens for a little over 180 degree. Unfortunately, the battery is not properly secured and there is a bit of play. Apart from the hard drive, which can be changed with a single screw, the maintenance of T400s is not easy. You must remove five screws and the keyboard touchpad to gain access to the rest.

Behind there is the battery, the connector industry and Kensington lock. The left will not be happy with the USB ports at the bottom left. The cable network, modem and VGA port will restrict the work area just to the left. On the left there is the PC Card slot and Express Card/54. The good news: There is a shipping dock below the T400s, which will free up a lot of space.

For even more security, there is a TPM (Trusted Platform Module), with which it is easy to encrypt your hard drive, a fingerprint reader imprints (depending on configuration) or a smartcard reader, that we put in the PC slot. The tool allows for easy ThinkVantage security options and communications. Blue ThinkVantage button above the keyboard launches ThinkVantage Productivity Center. For example you can change the options of wireless security options such as system passwords or the latest updates.
