How to reset an Edimax BR 6204Wg router

I was using an Edimax BR-6204Wg router on my computer and i have forgot the password for wireless signal. I had it set may be before 5 months. Now i want to use the wireless signal but i am unable to get connected as i have forgot the password. I know that i can solve this problem by resetting my router.

I think every router has a button to reset it which must be used to reset the router when it is needed. Actually this will be resetting your router and it will be installing it from the start like a new one. There would be reset provided on your router as well which you have to keep pressed for a while until it gets reset. Once it gets reset then you must be knowing that how to install it.

3. Plug in your cable or DSL modem,
4. wait for it to completely connect to the internet.
5. Pug in your router.
6. If you have DSL you may already have a built in router in your modem.
7. If you have cable you may need to call your ISP and have them reset your ARP cache.

Once you are finished with the resetting your Edimax router then you would be needing the default IP address, username and the password. I do not believe that you have no idea about the default things on your router. Anyway i have provided all the three default things about your router.
Default IP : 192.168.2.1
Username : admin
Password : 1234

Simple way to reset an Edimax BR 6204Wg router is to use the reset button provided on this router. You have press the reset button for some around 30 seconds and check that the LED lights of router gets ON. Once it gets reset then your router will get rebooted and now you have to enter the default username and password for making it working and i would like to tell you that you have already got the default values of the same in the previous post.
