Panasonic PV-GS2 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

I am thinking to buy the Panasonic PV-GS2 Mini DV Digital Camcorder. I know that it is not latest camcorder but my cousin is insisting for that. But the main thing is that I am not having any idea about it.

So thought that you technical guys must be knowing more about it. I have got an information about it, so it would be helpful if you provide your opinions and views about this Mini DV Digital Camcorder. Expecting some help from your side as early as possible.
