Cannot connect to itunes store error while trying to connect using Ipod

I have an Apple Ipod and it is now been upgraded to 3.1.1 and new itunes. The problem is that when I try to connect the device to the Itunes store via PC it works fine and gets connected but when It try it connect using Ipod I get an error message as "Cannot connect to itunes store" - invalid Argument. Why is this happening? I have no idea for the same. Please do help me out.

This is basically a problem with the network settings of the wifi that has been set to the router You need to check out i the wifi settings and then look for the configuration of the Ip address that has been assigned. I too had the same issue and found that the Ip address was somewhat like 169.254.x.x. This is actually wrong. Then I reset the settings for router and then rebooted it. Then I checked for the Ip address and it gave me proper 192.x.x.x. SO check out by performing the same.

It would be better that you upgrade the firmware for the device and make the possible implementation as required. This will then help you well and make the aspects to be worked as needed. You need to renew the Ip address for the same. You can do it by navigating through the settings option and then to wifi. now you should select the wifi you use and then make the changes as needed. Perform as required and then make the aspects to function. Under the tab you will now find renew. Click on it and perform the act.
