| Re: Frequency interference problem in Logitech z5450
Check the drivers for the network interface card installed on the computer. For the network interface card to work properly on the system, appropriate drivers must be installed. Device manager will give the exact status of all the devices which are connected to the computer. Check the status of network interface card and then follow the appropriate troubleshooting procedure. |

Is there any mobile device in vicinity of the laptop? If yes then it could be the reason why you are facing such problem. The RADIO signals which are emitted by the mobile phone can interfere with the wifi signal degrading the performance of Wifi communication. Hence move the mobile device away from the laptop if any while using wifi connection. |

| Re: Frequency interference problem in Logitech z5450
Ideally the interference should not occur while using Wifi connection. All the modern day laptop have the feature of changing the operating frequency if there is any interference. As the laptop is new, it should automatically change the operating frequency if there is any interference. I think there is some other reason for low internet performance. |

Yes according to the manual of the laptop, it should change the operating frequency for wireless connection if there is any interference but as it is not happening in the way it is supposed to be, Now I think the laptop is having some problems. Is there anyway of changing the operating frequency of the wireless network? Can anybody here help me in solving this issue? |

| Re: Frequency interference problem in Logitech z5450
The problem could be with Network interface card of the laptop. COnnecting and maintaining the network connectivity is dependant on the NIC of the laptop hence if it is faulty then network connectivity will suffer. Therefore check the NIC card by pinging the software interface of the nIc and see if there are any data packet losses. Replace the NIC if found faulty. |

Security softwares installed on the computer can cause the degradation in performance of the network. Security software sometimes block the traffic to the computer and hence degrading the performance of the network. Therefore disable the security sofware installed on the computer and then check if the same problem is faced or not. |
