Wi-fi Problems with Samsung S5560

i am too facing problems with my samsung gt 5560... when i try connecting to my wifi router which is not protected(no network key), it hangs up at 'connecting'.... and after 3-4 mins it shows disconnected icon...
i have tried it several times but still not able to connect..
previously it worked perfectly with my same wifi router, i used to get connected within 2-3 secs and so on....
i dint change my any wifi settings there after ..
So anybody please tell me a possible solution to solve this problem..

Try out below given settings. Restart your Samsung S5560 and start searching for WiFi connection you wanted to connect with.Add the given WiFi setting:

• SET Name : "wifi connection name" (automatic filled)
• Bearer type : Wi-Fi (automatic filled)
• SSID : "wifi connection name" (automatic filled)
• Auth Type : Open
• Encryption Type : WEP
• Key Length : 64 bits or 128 bits**
• Index ID : 1
• Network Key : **
• Protocol : HTTP
• Home URL : http://
• Proxy address : "leave blank"
• Linger Time (sec) : 300
• Adhoc : off
• advance setting

If still it wont work, than better update your device's firmware. This will fix if there is any conflict in the mobile OS.

• Go to 'Settings'
  
• choose 'Reset Settings'
  
• Tick the 'Phone Settings' option

The phone will tell you its going to reboot.After reboot turn your WIFI on and put in your WEP password!!

I did not got you properly, i mean what you meant by save option is not working?? is it giving you any error while saving the settings or it is just showing as saving and not actually saving it??? can you explain the issue in a bit detail???

Can you please explain in details what type of similar issues you are facing with this device Samsung S5560? I assume if you dont put the proper password for conneting to the wireless internet in your mobile phone then you will not be able to connect to internet to browse the web. Are you trying to connect your own home based wireless internet or some other connections?

Actually when after entering desired informatin i press "Save" button... than as usually happens, some cell phones displays "saved" message. in Samsung Wi-Fi's add menu, after pressing save command, no change takes place. nor wifi is added to list of devices.

Problem solved!!
reset phone setting, and after reboot search wi-fi again, connect, enter password and save! its done
