Recently I have purchased a new mobile phone Nokia which model numbers is 5530. I have done much mess with my mobile phone like there are some file which I cannot able to delete, there are also some hidden data which eating up my memory space. That why I am looking to hard reset to my mobile phone. But I don’t know how hard reset Nokia 5530, please help me?

If after the soft reset, the phone still has problems, try the Hard reset.
Enter the following code:
*#7370#
Like the Soft Reset the phone, mobile ask you the lock code, the original is: 12345


To perform a Hard Reset on a Nokia, which wants more light, make the following operation:
Press these three keys simultaneously:
on / off + * + 3
Wait for "format" fits the screen, then release the 3 keys

So I tried this, it asks me if I actually want to restore the original configuration, but when he did, it changes nothing at all! No parameters of departure is changed, the same problems persist, the only difference between before and after the hard reset is the fact that this may no longer be silent but pervasive pattern.

If your problem is also persist then try to do the following thing:

Always start with a soft reset in case of trouble.
• Enter the following code:
*#7780#
• Then, if the phone asks for lock code, the original is: 12345

Press simultaneously the 4 buttons for 10 seconds following:
• Green button (button to pick up the phone)
• Red button (button to hang up the phone)
• Button Camera / Camera
• Button Ignition phone

If your nokia n97 is planted at startup, and the Nokia logo is displayed,

• You can reset your N97 by simultaneously pressing the four keys shown in this diagram at startup for a few seconds to know:

To hard reset your Nokia 5530 you only must press *#7370# and press Dial. The handset will ask for the security code that is by defaulting 12345. Please be attentive that you will lose all the information in your handset, so you are supposed to backup all relevant information.

If you need to soft reset your Nokia 5530 you have to press *#7780# and then Dial. The security code is 12345. Once you finish this, your handset will come back to factory settings, however you will not loose private data.
