    Factory reset for Android 2.2

My magic HTC G2 was running miracle, or until the accelerometer crashed: more compass, and when I turn a quarter turn on the screen, it switches not lateral mode. The bubble level has remained stationary; the movement of the phone is no longer taken into account. Do you think this may be a software problem? Please tell me how to reset everything?
