Which is the best desktop for x11 on a 320x240 screen with 32 MB RAM?

I am using Zipit z2 which is running on Debian. I want to buy a good desktop that does not use mouse so much, which is having little memory and processor power. I have gone through many sites about this but I could not find any thing good. If anyone having information on this then please reply me. Any suggestions will appreciate. Thanks in advance.

I have gone through you question, and have found a lightweight desktop environment called as LXDE. LXDE is the quick performing with energy saving desktop environment. LXDE is comes with attractive interface and also having support for Multilanguage. The main features of this, that is it’s having standard keyboard with shortcut so the less use of mouse, as you requirements with the tabbed file browsing. In my recommendation you should go with this one.

In my recommendation you should go with XFCE a desktop environment which is uses for different NIX systems. This desktop environment is designed for efficiency that is, all the applications are loaded fast and fast execution with protection of system resources. This desktop environment is having many components, through which it gives full functionality for desktop environment. I advise you to go with this one. If you are having any other query then reply me.

I am using Fluxbox window manager and I think that it better than all. I think that it very easy to handle and light on resources, but extremely fast desktop experience. This has been build using C++. This is having lots of many of the native options like grouping, a long list of keyboard command, tabbing with fully editable menu. There is tool of toolbar called as The Systemtray, which is use to select applications with different features. I hope this information may help you to take your decision.
