    my 27" iMac won't sleep

    I am having 27'' apple iMac and having some issues with it. But actual problem is that this iMac doesn't keep the sleep mode. When I select the sleep mode, it goes to sleep mode, but after 5 sec it wakes again automatically. I am have idea about how to resolve this sleep mode issue of my iMac. If you knows any solution over this, then please let me know that.

    I am also getting similar problem with my imac also. I also gone through many solutions, but unfortunately still having same problem. I don't know if my imac posses any hardware issue or anything else. I am very frustrated because of this sleep mode issue of my imac. If anyone knows any solution, then try to share it.er of your imac.

    According to me you will need do the resetting of a chip that governs a power function of Mac. It is called SMC i.e System Management Controller. On most new desktop Macs, that users need to do is turn the computer off, unplug everything as energy, and any other USB cable. Just leave him alone a minute, then plug it again.

    If you want to resolve this issue of your iMac system, for that just need to shut down your system and unplug it, remove the battery and then press the power button for at least 5 seconds. Then next step is to restore the battery and turn the laptop back on. Please try out this solution first.

    Please refer following steps:
    • Turn off your iMac
    • Unplug all cables
    • Wait 15-30 seconds, plug it in and iMac Into.
    • iMac boot up
    • Once imac started and select "Restore Defaults" from the system preferences.
    • Restart iMac

    It sounds that you apple imac is might have some faults which causing this sleep mode issue. If you have tried above solutions and still possessing same sleep mode problem, then there is only one way to resolve this problem. I suggest you to replace this faulty apple imac. Before that you can try to visit nearest service center.

    I suggest you to refer following suggestions.
    • Configure the sleep mode setting of your imac.
    • Try 'Restore Defaults' setting for sleep mode.
    • Contact the service center of your imac.
