Macbooks with core i5 and 5870 too hot?

Hello there, I am planning to buy a new Macbook pro for myself and need your suggestions regarding it. Currently I am having Macbook pro with 9600m GT 512 video card on it. The problem is that the Macbook gets heated a lot. I have heard that the new Macbooks will be having Core i5 processor with an ATI 5870 graphic card. Therefore I want to know if Macbooks with core i5 and 5870 will be too hot or not. Please share some information which will help me in deciding which product to buy. Thanks in advance.

The Macbooks with core i5 processor are not yet launched by the Apple and may take some time to be released. The new Macbooks which will be available will have some extra features to control the temperature of the computer as Apple had already received many complaints about high operating temperature of the Macbooks. Hence when the Macbooks are available, buy it without any hesitation.

The ATI graphic card which you have mentioned has a lot of heat dissipation due to which the working temperature of the new macbook will be high but the temperature will only increase while using some high end graphics application on the computer. When the graphic card is not under stress, the temperature will be much lower.

There are different cooling solutions available for the portable computers which help in keeping the working temperature of the computer under control. There are many applications available which help in monitoring the working temperature of the computer. Keep the threshold temperature of the computer to some safe working temperature. If the temperature of the computer rises above this threshold level, the application will indicate it.

I have heard that HP Envy 15 has the same configuration as the new Macbooks which are going to be launched. So I want to know if HP Envy would be a better choice than the Macbook or should I wait till the Macbooks are released? As far I have heard the performance of the HP Envy 15 is very good as compared to older Macbooks and hence I am confused. Please help.
