3D capability in samsung BD-P4600

I have bought a new Samsung BD-P4600 and i found that somewhere on the net that this blue ray player has the 3D capability. Is it true and even if it is true then is there any need of that silly 3D glasses for watching move via this player. No matter the TV is 3D or not but can this player really do so?

I think you must be talking about some other model of the BD players as i have never found that this player does have support for the 3D experience. And i guess if you want to enjoy the 3D experience on your TV through this player then you must have to wear those 3D glasses and that even your TV should be at least HD supportive so that you can enjoy the better feel of 3D movies.

I there is no need of TV being a 3D capable as you can watch any 3D movie on the tv with its real feel with the support of red and blue paper glasses which helps you to have 3D experience on any TV.
Actually the movie or a broadcast should be in anaglyph 3D signals on which your 3D glasses can work to have that experience.

I have searched for the features presented in the samsung BD-P4600 which is good player but i have not seen anything like 3D given on this player. I have found this information from an official web site of Samsung.
BD-P4600 contains downloadable video content, ringtones, games etc. Download additional content from the internet or even chat with friends when watching the same movie. It supports for the HDMI, DivX SD/HD, BD wise, WiFi ready (wireless adapter included), Netflix, YouTube and Pandora.

Yes, That is true that samsung BD-P4600 is not a 3D player but i guess i have found the 3D player of the same barn for you. Samsung BD-C6900 is the only product from the samsung which supports for the 3D. But that too should be having a high speed cable and 3D Television . And you can easily get an information about this model from an official web site of Samsung.
