Can you turn off the zoom feature on the touchpad?

I am having a query that is Can you turn off the zoom feature on the touchpad? As i am using the Acer Aspire 5735Z-342G25N which is having zoom feature in it that zoom the image and many more. What i want is to disable this feature from the keyboard so if any one is having the knowledge about the same then let me know about it. Thanks in advance.

This can be possible with the help of the below given step that will let you disable the feature if zooming in the Acer laptop which you are looking for. Hope you will like the same.

• Click on Start
• Go to your control panel
• Double Click on Mouse icon
• Jump to Acer touchpad tab
• Double click on touch pad region
• Click on gestures setting
• Deselect the zoom

Hey as per you query let me tell you that this is possible with the help of the Synaptic setting. I am not sure about this but i think that the setting for the mouse or touchpad of Acer device is dependent on the Synaptic setting. So asking you for the same look for the synaptic setting and see whether it is having the feature like disabling the Zoom or not.

For that you have to get into the Control panel and the look for the Mouse and the go to the device setting where the list of the Touchpad will appear. Then there will be setting for the same will appear you work on the same and get rid of this issue by selecting the Zoom disable option. So try this out and let me know whether the issue got resolved or not .

Hey i am having the same laptop on which i have disabled the Zoom with then mouse setting. So as you are having the same issue i think the below given step will help you for so go through the same and work with this issue.

• Go to Control Panel
• Click on Mouse
• Click on Device Settings
• Click on Settings
• Click on Advanced Gestures
• Click on Pinch
• Now Unchecked the Enable Pinch

If you are having the problem with the Zooming of the mouse then let me tell you that you don't have to worry about this more as you can take help of then Synaptic t disable the same. Just right click on the System Tray synaptic and then select the Properties from the Context menu. Now go to the Pinch and then untick the same which will disable the Zooming.

Hey i have tried this and let me tell you that this worked for me. i know i am little late for the reply but any ways thanks a lot for the help that is sorted out my issue related to the Zooming feature of the Touchpad.
