Resetting my LG made dvd recorder

I have changed some of the settings of my LG DVD recorder. But now i want to reset the settings of this recorder as i am getting confused for doing any further settings. I have made some mistakes in the settings but i would be glad if anybody can help me to make it like it was original. Thanks in advance.

I think you should go to the Menu and then have a look for the settings in which you can have a setting for factory settings. Most of the recorders have this option in the setup menu. As you have not provided the model number of the LG dvd recorder which you are using, It is getting bit difficult to sort out your problem.

I have just bought a LG insignia and i have tried all the settings including the factory reset. Actually i have made a small mistake when i was doing bit time pass with the settings of this TV and i have putted some password for the secret menu and great Eldon have forgot the password for this. Now i am not able to get into this menu.

My ES20 is used to lose its settings after few times. I have noticed it by an incorrect time when I turn on the machine. This incorrect time can be reset but other settings such as parental control level are not working and some time Quick Start from Setup Menu also gets changed to the nothing.
