Unable to delete original contact after adding it to group

Hi
I have Nokia x3-02 model. I have created a group called family in contacts and added some contacts in the group.
Now I want to delete this contact from the main list and not from the group.
As now it the showing the contact in main list as well as in family group.
I want it only on family group.
Any help will greatly appreciated.

It is not possible to delete the contact from the main list. The phonebook consist of primary list which is linked to group only. They are just linked in the group only. If you delete it from the main list the entire contact will disappear. There is no way to hide the contact on Nokia phone unless you use any kind app for it.
