Sync'ing iPad for pdf and wmv files

Hello. I have an Apple Ipad and I am not able to synchronize it with the pdf and wmv files on my desktop machine. I am not able to work out for the thing well I have no idea what could have been the reason that is causing it. Do check out for the thing that may help you out for the same.
