ibook is over heating

Hi all,

My laptop is ibook, bought in Feb this year. Have not been good cooling, CPU temperature is often above 60 degrees. The CPU usage is not high. Now the voice is also particularly large fan. Is a poor thermal performance of domestic machines, or what problems there? Please suggest.

ibook is over heating

You need to set reasonable power management. Including the setting in the use of AC adapter or battery-powered display when closed, shut down the hard disk and the system to wait for such time. This is important, the hardware is very good, other ibook suspend mode consumes very little power, but this time the memory is still work to maintain low power consumption. Opening screen or click the Fn key can wake up quickly, notebook computers, saving electricity also reduces the heat, just to rest a while the computer is no different. check and reply.

You need to close unnecessary applications, can also be part of the reduction in energy consumption; but open Power Booster procedures had also to reduce power consumption, open the program and drag the pointer around 0xFF (Battery) side, so the hard disk spindle motor slow down to energy without elaborate; and lower optical drive speed, dimming the display brightness, etc., can reduce the computer more or less heat. All the best.

You need to use CPUCool7.1.8. This software is shareware, if you are patient you can find registered version. You can download the website in the mainstream, non-registered version of the 30-day time limit to use. Software size 1230KB, a CPU can cool down allowing the procedure more functions, in addition to cool things, to optimize CPU support function (support AMD, Cyrics, Intel), surveillance, display board temperature, fan speed and voltage (supports Intel, SIS, VIA, ALi chipset, etc.); and display CPU utilization, memory usage, disk space, disk access speed and other indicators. All the best.

Re: ibook is over heating

You determine your laptop in use around the temperature. ibook notebook with excellent stability and good heat dissipation is known, even if the feeling is not difficult to visually determine: ibook almost the same level of configuration, the same ambient temperature, bottom of the computer also estimated that 40 ℃, while the other brand of computer, such as COMPAQ, TOSHIBA and SONY, optical keyboard had a little hot, it should be at 55 ℃. Even though you pride because you are using a ibook, but if you're after prolonged use, although the feel is very stable, but I strongly recommend that you touch the keyboard and the bottom of the laptop to determine what the temperature is already on your laptop causing more injury. All the best.

You need to close external devices and ports. Can save energy, reduce the heat can also prolong the service life of components ah. Close does not use any external devices such as mobile hard disk, PCMICA equipment and close the serial port, parallel port or infrared (IR) port, etc., to be sure to save some power. All the best.
