Best format to record music on ipod?

Hello friends,
I have apple iPod classic 80 gb which is 1 year old. I want to asked which is the best format is used to recording CDs to the iPod. As I am singing teacher I want some high quality music. Can anyone tell me best format to record music on ipod? Please help me.

I am using mp3 songs with 320kbps format and I think it is has the best quality than other format. Only original songs has these types of format. Try to insert only original songs in your mobile phone. It has very good quality of songs.
