Nokia 7210: 'not enough memory' issue

I am using Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile from three months. But from few days this Nokia mobile is showing very strange error message. Whenever I try to play music file or any video file I immediately get error message saying that 'Not enough memory'. I also tried to release the memory from my mobile, but still getting same error message. If anyone posses solution to resolve this issue of Nokia 7210 Supernova, then try to share it with me. I will really appreciate your any help.

It sounds that the phone memory of your mobile is full. To play video or audio file your mobile should contains some free memory space. If your mobile doesn't comprises enough memory, then you will get any error message while performing task like playing video or using bluetooth data transfer. So try to delete some content from phone memory in the way to release memory space.

I was also getting same error message 'not enough memory' while playing music file in my Nokia mobile. Somebody told me to format phone memory. I did the same and formatted the phone memory. Surprisingly this trick solve my mobile issue that was causing 'not enough memory' error. I suggest you to try same thing as did i.e formatting of phone memory.

According to me your Nokia 7210 Supernova is might have some issue. And this type of memory issue is very difficult to resolve. So it's better for you to contact the service center of your Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile. Before that you can also try the resetting of factory setting of your Nokia mobile as this might solve the memory issue.

I think you need to try one of the following solutions:

• Delete content from phone memory.
• Try to move content from phone memory to memory card.
• Visit the service center of your mobile phone.

What is the Nokia Model of your phone ? Anyways, if it is not Touch screen than you can format it from the following steps:

• Switch of your phone, remove SD card.
• Press and Hold '*' + '3' + OK button and switch On button. Hold all these four keys for about 10 to 15 seconds.

Your phone will be formatted. Alternatively, you can also enter the following code: *#7370# . The phone will ask for security code i.e. 12345 (default).

i have nokia 7210 supernova..i have already tried the code*#7370# . by trying it, i will get the msg of "result unknown",,,,,what i have to do now?

Yeah, thats correct. *#7370# , this code doesn't work for 7210. What you have to is follow the manual steps mentioned by maq.h, that is :

* Switch of your phone, remove SD card.

If you want to format phone memory of nokia 7210 supernova then you will have to connect it on your pc with the nokia pc suite or either the ovi suite which will then make a different drive for your phone memory if you can go and search it on "my computer" then clicking on nokia folder. There you will see 2 sections - 1 is for phone memory and the other is for phone memory card.

You can give a try by formatting your phone. But it will delete all the data from the phone memory so make sure that you have to take backup of it. if it is not working for you should contact the technical support team to get further help.
