micromax q3 mobile not working as modem

Hello friends,

I recently bought micromax q3 mobile phone but currently having some issues with this mobile. I have activated the internet services over my mobile and I can browse various websites on my mobile. But issue is that I am not able use this mobile as modem. When I connect it to my pc it doesn't get detected as modem. I have tried many things to resolve this issue but without any success. If you have solution to resolve this issue, then please let me aware about that.

According to my information if you want to use you mobile as modem for that you must need to install the modem driver which compatible for your mobile phone. I think you have not installed this modem driver of your micromax mobile, so I suggest you to do installation of these drivers first. And then try to reconnect your mobile to your PC to see is it detected as modem or not.

I think the USB cable of your mobile might comprises some issue. I was also getting identical issue with my mobile, at that time replaced the USB cable of my mobile phone. Surprisingly this solve my mobile issue. I think same thing might happened with you also. So try to replace the faulty USB cable of your micromax q3 mobile and then reconnect it to computer. I hope it will definitely solve modem issue of your mobile.
