    "Unable to join network" message

    Hi all,

I have a apple IPod Touch. When I try to connect or to Wi-Fi network in the iPod touch or iPhone, i receive an error message "unable to join Network Failure (error -3)", verify the device's Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and security settings (WEP password, WEP hex or ASCII, WPA, or WPA2). How to resolve this issue. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

In Wi-Fi access points / routers, you should verify the router MAC address filtering function is turned on or off, the router's security settings are matched with the iPod touch or iPhone (WEP password, WEP hex or ASCII, WPA, or WPA2), and quality of service in the router (QoS) feature is turned on to disable the feature. Check and reply.

If after trying the above suggestions, try to connect or to Wi-Fi network, the device still receive the error message "unable to join Network Failure (error -3)", you can tapSettings> Wi-Fi> Other (in the "Select Network" below), Then enter the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID), select the Security Settings and enter the password. All the best.

If the different switch between Wi-Fi network, and you can not access the Internet or iPhone Wi-Fi can not perform other data activities, try to open the "flight mode", and then close the "flight mode" (tap set up snd open the "flight mode", and then close the "flight mode"). For the iPod touch, should be shut down Wi-Fi, and then turn Wi-Fi (tapSettings> Wi-Fi And turn off Wi-Fi, and then turn Wi-Fi). If the problem persists, you can touchSettings> Wi-Fi> Other (in the "Select Network" below), Then enter the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID), select the Security Settings and enter the password. All the best.

If the home Wi-Fi access point to use, see the user manual / documentation to help you perform actions according to some of the above recommendations
    # See router / Wi-Fi access point manufacturer's website to find out whether you have installed the router / Wi-Fi access point to the latest firmware / software update.
    # If the router / Wi-Fi access point configured with multiple WEP keys, try to remove the other WEP key, so that the router / Wi-Fi access point, configure a WEP key only.
    # Try to reset the router.

If you use a commercial Wi-Fi hotspots (as in the airport or coffee shop) having problems, try to extend the DHCP lease.
    1. TapSettings> Wi-Fi network, Then tap the network next to the "More Information" ().
    2. In the DHCP panel, select "renew" button.
Start on the iPhone or iPod touch Safari browser, the system prompted the license agreement agreed to accept commercial hot spots. If the system does not prompt you to accept at commercial hotspots and Wi-Fi DHCP lease to extend the license agreement. All the best.
