Samsung Jet S8003 Cannot Send Emails with Attachments

Hello there, I have just bought a Samsung Jet S8003 smartphone which is working fine except for one problem which is annoying me. I am not able to send emails containing attachments from my phone. Whenever a email with an attachment is sent from the phone, it gives an error saying "No response error". Hence I want to know why my Samsung Jet S8003 Cannot Send Emails with Attachments. Please help.

To be able to send emails from the phone you will have to have GPRS activated on the SIM card. If the GPRS is not activated on the SIM card, you will not be able to send emails. To get the proper solution to the problem, you will have to get the proper settings for the phone from the network provider. Contact the customer support of the network provider and get all the settings which are required for activating GPRS on the phone. After configuring the phone properly, you will be able to send emails with includes attachments.

Have you configured the phone properly? For the phone to send and receive emails, you will have to configure the phone properly. You are getting the error because the phone is not configured properly to handle emails containing attachments. Therefore I would suggest that you get the correct configuration of the phone from the nearest samsung service center and then check if you are able to send and receive emails containing attachments or not.

You will have to configure a email client for sending and receiving the email from the Samsung Jet which you are using. Install a email client as Exchange on the computer and then configure your email ID with the Exchange server. After configuring the phone properly with the email client, there would be no problem is receiving and sending emails containing attachments. You can get help from the local service provider for the configuration of email client.

I was facing the same problem with my Jet which was solved by the configuring the phone as per the settings which are provided below. Configure your Jet S8003 as per the settings below and then see if it helps.
  • Name of account: <Your id>@emailclient
  • SMTP server: smtp.emailclient.com
  • SMTP port: 587
  • Secure connection: SSL
  • Incoming server type: POP3
  • POP3 server: pop.gmail.com
  • POP3 port: 995
  • Secure connection: SSL
  • Download limit: 70
  • IMAP4 Incoming email <Disabled>
  • Retrieving option: Subject only
  • Keep on server: Check mark
  • My address: <Your id>@emailclient.com
  • User name: <your id>@emailclient.com
  • Password: **********
  • POP before SMTP: Check mark
  • SMTP auth: Check mark
  • Same as POP3/IMAP: Remove check mark
  • User name: <Your id>@emailclient
  • Password: **********
