Facing problem with the installation of N97 SDK in windows 7

I am trying to make mobile game for the Nokia N97, for doing this I have downloaded the N97 software development kit and the active pearl. Well to be more precise I am using Netbeans IDE and operating system Window 7. While installing it I am unable to understand the one thing which is under this folder. "C:\S60\devices\Nokia_N97_SDK_v1.0\Plugins\vistapatch". It is necessary to install the vista patch or not. In short, I am facing the problem with the installation of N97 SDK in windows 7. Please reply.

I think you are having the problem with the software development kit you have downloaded for developing the game. Therefore, I will suggest you to download the software development kit from the official site of Nokia. I think you are trying to install the tools without the administrator right. If you are doing so then I will suggest you to install the software with the administrator right. For doing that you run as administrator option for the context menu. If that doesnot solve your problem then maybe they have not been able to appropriately register themselves and to appropriately configure the environment
