Dell inspiron 1501 will not power on

I have the Dell Inspiron 1501laptop which comes with the AMD processor and the Windows XP operating system loaded in it. This laptop is around 2 year old now. Now coming to the issue, this Dell Inspiron 1501 will not power on. This problem started two days back when i the morning i was trying to start the laptop but it was not responding. No power at all in the laptop.

Make sure that the battery of the laptop is installed properly in the battery slot of the laptop and the charger is also connected properly. So connect both the things properly and try again.

So i will advise you to first check the batter of the laptop with some other Dell laptop supporting the same battery. If the batter is not working then its time to replace it with the new one. If the battery is working then there is problem with the laptop or may be with the charger of the laptop.

I think instead of trying to solve the turning on problem of the Dell inspiron 1501 laptop by yourself, you should contact to the Dell customer service center for this issue. Although the product is out of warranty period, So they will charge you for that. You can also contact to the local laptop repairing center but it is always better to contact the manufacturer for resolving any issue.
