Keyboard backlight on E105-S1402 turns on everytime I hit a key after updating BIOS to version 1.80

I am having an issue with the Toshiba Satellite E105-S1402 which was working all file with the Windows Vista but the Keyboard backlight on E105-S1402 turns on everytime I hit a key after updating BIOS to version 1.80 and after some time the light goes off. The function +Z which was working for ON and OFF of backlight are not working now. So help me with the issue. Thanks in advance.

I am having one solution for the same which might work for you so try this out if you can. Here are the steps involving the same which will work for you. Just go through the same.

1. Turn On the computer
2. Wait till Toshiba Screen appear
3. Press the F2 to enter set up
4. Select the Advanced
5. Select the keyboard backlight and set it back to "Fn + Z".

When you performed the BIOS update at that time some of the BIOS setting automatically changes due to which the functionality of the device and behavior also changes. So i think this is the reason why you are getting the same problem. So if it is the reason then go back to the BIOS and make the changes that you need to.

If the problem is still not sorted out with the help of the above replies then it is better to take the help of the Toshiba Tech Support which will guide regarding the issue which you are getting. The Toshiba might be aware of the same issue due to the number of user and possibly having the solution of this. So do the same to help yourself.

I know i am little late for the reply but i was performing the same and let me tell you that this worked for me as i am able to get the backlight working according to me as it was not working before, So many thanks to you for the reply that you have given me regarding the issue of backlight. Also the work of others also appreciable.
