low volume in satellite L505-S6946

I am using my Toshiba satellite L505-S6946 from last two months but it has never happened that it has given such a low sound from the speakers. I have turned the volume all the way up but still it is sounding very much low. I was using the windows vista earlier which has been upgraded by the windows 7 home edition since when i am facing this problem.

You must reinstall the sound drivers on your windows 7 laptop as you have upgraded your computer it might happen that there would be something wrong installation of sound drivers. It may also happen because of the not uninstalling the sound driver of windows vista. You must first remove the older driver from your computer and then let windows 7 automatically install a new driver on its own.

I think it seems to be some wrong settings because of which your Toshiba laptop is sounding low. you have to check for the all the settings, First of all check that is your volume is set to the highest on taskbar which is a sound manager of your windows operating system. Many people just does not think about this simple setting which has been set by them only but they just forget to make it loud again.

Go to the start menu and open Control Panel where you have to select for the Sound where you have select for the speaker. Now click on the properties where you have find for the LOUDNESS EQUALIZATION. Once you have enabled the LOUDNESS EQUALIZATION then you will realize that your laptops sounds loud. I have solved my problem by doing the same.

There is another driver which also affect the sound on your Toshiba laptop named as Conexant HD Audio Driver. You have to reinstall this driver after which your laptop's sound will become normal if it is really lowered. Go to the Control Panel and open Programs & Features where you can select for uninstalling the Conexant HD Audio Driver program and restart your computer and let windows install it again on its own. If it does not works for you then you may give your laptop for check up.
