Satellite L505-S5988 sound VERY tinny

I have bought a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5988 and found problem on it. Actually problem is not much big but it is more annoying as you can not hear the songs in loud songs. Speakers of this laptop are sounding very low and i am not able to find out the reason behind its low sound quality. Have i done any wrong settings on my laptop because of which my laptop sounds low.

This seems to be sound driver problem on your Toshiba Satellite L505-S5988. I think you should reinstall the sound drivers on your laptop which solves this problem o low sound on your laptop. I have faced the same problem and my low quality volume has been washed out from my laptop. But do not forget to uninstall the old sound driver from your laptop which may interfere with your new installation of sound driver.

Enabling the "Loudness Equalization" also makes your laptop's sound louder. To enable the same go to the start menu and select Hardware and Sound. Then go to the Realtek HD Audio Manager and switch to the Sound Effects tab and click on OK. You may also do it by going to the Start > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Speaker Properties > Enhancements tab and then scroll down to enable the "Loudness Equalization".

Low quality sound has been seen on many Toshiba Satellite series but it can be solved by reinstalling the Conexant HD Audio Driver on your windows operating system. I have provided you the steps to reinstall it as follows.
1. Go to the start menu and then Control Panel.
2. Open Programs & Features and click Uninstall Conexant HD Audio Driver.
3. Now restart your computer which will automatically install the Conexant HD Audio Driver.

There could be some kind of hardware issue on your laptop as there are many peoples on different forum who have accepted that their new brand laptop has this kind of problems which has been solved by the Toshiba only. It might happen to you as well, I would like suggest you to go to the Toshiba store to deal with this problem so that if your laptop's speaker are really faulty then you can use the warranty given by the company.
