Web Cam Issues A505-S6965

Hello. I have a Toshiba A505-S6965 laptop and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. The problem is that the the webcamera of the same is not functioning. It says that it is used by another application. Also it says that web cam initialization failed. I do not know what could have been the issue? Please do help me out so that I can make the thing to work out. Thank you.

The problem could be that the driver is not been installed properly or it is not able to cope with he same. In order to look out for the same you need to check out that the driver is not corrupt or able to function appropriately. All you need to do is to perform a reinstall process that may help in making the issue to be sorted. Do check out for the same. I hope this should sort.

There is an alternative to which you can make the things to work or process out well. In order to do that you need to follow the steps that is open the control panel option now open the add/remove program option. Select the desired application that needs to be removed and then click on remove button. Now restart the system and then install the new copy of the driver.

It can be done by enabling the webcamera from the device manager. You need to check out that the camera section in the same is enabled. This may then let you to cope or work with the device. Also try to upgrade the driver pack or version that you have currently installed to the system. This may be the reason that it is not functioning or coping well. DO check out.

Install the driver that is the updated on under safe mode option. As safe mode do not have much of the advanced features enabled to the same it may then help in sorting the issue that is the camera not detecting thing to be sorted. So if you have done the same it is essential that you upgrade the related drivers or application in order that they work or function appropriately. Either perform a clean install that is format the system and then install the drivers for the application. This may then process well.
