Hi,
I need some tips in managing my Blackberry phone. I want some information on customizing and personalization. Like managing my contacts and other option in Blackberry. I know that Blackberry is multi-functional phone with many features which are still unknown to us. I also need some help in using the most useful features of Blackberry phone.

Each application has its own options to customize. Run for example calendar, then press the Menu key and select Options. You can then change the display of days, hours, etc. In the Messaging application, use the Options command to activate the spell check or group SMS, MMS and email in one folder. Then select the command Combined. To distribute messages according to their origin, choose Separated a new icon will appear in addition to file messages to accommodate only SMS and MMS. If you want to display the missed calls in the list of messages, launch the Phone application, press the Menu key and select Options. Select Call Logging and click on Missed calls.

By default, several profiles are available to make the phone silent, vibrate or turn up the volume of the ringer. But there's more, you can choose to mute the ringer for all calls except those from a particular contact, or does the device to vibrate when you receive an instant message or email. Select the icon of the profiles, top left, then press to scroll through the list of profiles. Choose the bottom of this list the Advanced, then select the Create. I just have to define the behavior of your phone for calls and messages.

If you think that the buttons on either side of the phone would be more useful if they would trigger other functions as the camera or voice commands, go to the home screen, menu button. Select Options and select App. This page lets you adjust the brightness of the screen, change the display font and enable or disable the keyboard sounds. Place the cursor on the line button right side to determine the function or application that will launch pressing this button. Repeat with the line button left side. You might choose the application selector that switches between an open application to another: very convenient to record an appointment or a phone number during a call

To find a contact, no need to open the directory. Type the first letter in the name of the person then space, then the first letter in his name. You will go directly to the plug. To dial a number, use the numeric keys on the keyboard without typing space. Press the green phone calls to view the communications log. To avoid giving the impression that you turned down, press a button, volume control, on the right side. The alarm stops immediately and the call is transferred to the courier.

In the message list, press Alt-E to display the incoming messages or Alt-S for outgoing messages. With the Return key, it returns to the full list. Press N to view the message, F to the end of the list and D to its beginning. To delete multiple messages, place the cursor over a date and menu button and selecting Delete History. All posts prior to this date will be deleted.
