Need information on Blackberry Peer to Peer Messaging

    Hi,
I need some information on Peer to Peer messaging in Blackberry phone. We can use the BBM for sending PIN to PIN message. But that is quiet safer or not. I had found recently that some one has traced a message in this thing. Where is the PIN usually located. And how does a message sent in this process. What is the safer way to work on it.

Every Blackberry mobile has a unique 8 digit number which is called as personal identification number or PIN. You can use this number to identify a user and check the status of your friends on chatting. The number is located in the Option > Status menu. You can simply add this number to the chat application and then add your friends for chatting.

To send a pin message you will need to first add your friends pin in BBM and then press the id to chat. You can also send a email, text message and images to your friend in the list. you can select the same pin via compose application. For this just click on compose icon and then go to To column. Here you can add your contact via drop down box or just type here. You can also select PIN from it.

Just press the compose icon and then scroll to the to list and the contact. This is the way by which you can send the mail to the pin number easily. This is basically a part of peer to peer networking. If you find any issue regarding the PIN number then you can check that in your phone or contact your service provider for the similar issue.

PIN TO PIN is a simple plane message service where a message is encrypted and send in the form of plane text. It is basically not easy to intercept the message except to the number whom you are sending. I will recommend you that you must not send any sensitive information via PIN. This can be traced by applications but in most cases it is not possible.

A safer way of Peer to Peer messaging is email. If you are trying to send and receive important information via PIN then that can be harmful for your. It is possible that someone else might be reading your message. For this you can use the email which is much mores share. Next time when you compose a message choose the contact and add the email address rather than PIN number.
