How to calibrate the battery on your iPhone?

    Hi,

I have recently purchased a Apple iphone 3g. That is even increasing their actual capacity, however impossible it may seem to me. In my case it is better to recharge the iphone several times during the day without letting the battery go below 50%? So what do you do to calibrate the battery on your iPhone ???

Calibrate a battery properly is simple but requires certain sacrifices of use. I'm going to get the full (there are some smaller)
    • We must let the iPhone runs the entire burden of the battery, ie use it until it shuts down for lack of battery.
    • After the iPhone battery has run out, we let it sit for about 6 to 8 hours.
    • After this time because we can connect it to boot to load, this process should be left between 6 to 8 hours. (While it may use its load without disconnecting from the mains.)
    • Once the load, you can enjoy your iPhone newly calibrated.

To calibrate the battery on your iPhone, Turn off 3G. The 3G chip is big consumer, is a question to ask. This will obviously reduce your surfing speed and force navigation in EDGE (outside WiFi coverage) but having sailed from 9 months in EDGE, navigation remains comfortable and Apple have improved the loading of Web pages 2.0 Navigation n 'is that better. Settings -> General -> Network -> 3G.

You can also calibrate the iPhone battery by Disabling WiFi: When you're not likely to use the WiFi network, disable it is the best effect on the autonomy of the beast. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi. Disable WiFi connection requests: less radical than the previous point, but apparently it is a beneficial effect on the battery. You usually know when you're near a hotspot or WiFi access point and there is no need to let the iPhone pass his time in search of new ... You can always go to the settings when the mood takes you to connect a new terminal. Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Confirm access

Disable Push or reduce the frequency of checking email (or switch to manual mode only): If you do not need to be warned of the arrival of new emails and you can simply meet them manually from time to time this is also the best effect. If you're on MobileMe, you can also mix the information you want to receive automatic (email, calendar, contacts, bookmarks) and you simply synchronize the other via cable ... By going to Settings -> Fetch New Data.

Reduce the brightness of the screen or at least use the automatic brightness: The screen of the iPhone 3G is significantly brighter than its predecessor, a small decrease in brightness will do him no harm and will be again the best effect self. Disable location-based services: the same causes, same effects. The GPS chip is consuming energy is no reason to continue in service when not in use.
