Green light continues to blink in Ipod shuffle

I was using the 1 GB ipod shuffle from last few months. As far as i have used it. It is a very good device with some very unique features. Although it van play music files and i can sync it with the system without any sort of problem but one thing which really bothers me is that the greens light continues to blink in Ipod shuffle which consume a lot of battery.

I think that this is because you have changed certain settings in your Ipod associated with the lights which is causing all these to happen and hence the green light blinks continuously and consume a considerable part of your ipod battery. Try to check this setting carefully hope this will help you.

Most probably this is due to some setting change in your Ipod i think that you should try to refer the user manual and try to change the setting back to normal. If this is not due to change of setting then it might be indicating some sort of error. So i would recommend you to check it with the error table in the user manual.

Re: Green light continues to blink in Ipod shuffle

Thanks a lot for the reply. As you all suggested that this is due to some change in setting. So i tried to change the setting for hours but could not find anything useful. Also i tried to found the error table in the user manual but i am not able to get it anywhere so if you find it online please send it online.

Re: Green light continues to blink in Ipod shuffle

I had the similar issue with my Ipod shuffle the green light seemed to blink continuously on it. so desperation led me to plug it to my AC adapter and then i charged it for around two days when i removed it off it started behaving normally. I think you should also try this , might solve your ipod.

Re: Green light continues to blink in Ipod shuffle

If iPod shuffle has an error, the front status light will blink orange and green when you press any button. If you see this, try turning off iPod shuffle, waiting a few seconds, and then turning it back on. If you still see the front status light blink orange and green, it could indicate that you have no songs on your iPod shuffle to play.
