| Micro sd card is unreadable by card reader
Hello, I am using "Motorola E815" phone form the last three months, i have a 2Gb "Transcend sd card" which i use for my phone. One day there was a virus problem with my memory card so i format it using my mobile phone after inserting it in my mobile phone. After that i put my sd card in the card reader to transfer some data from computer to the mobile phone, after inserting it i found that there no removable disk was found in the computer. My computer is unable to read my sd card, please tell me how do I get my computer to read this sd card. |

I think you need to check it with some other computer to check that may be its a driver problem. You can connect and install the driver on the other computer and see that after inserting the sd card, it responds to you or not. If it responds than there might be a driver problem on your computer or if it doesn't respon then you need to check your card reader with the technician, i think your card reader might be having some kind of problem. |

You can re-format your sd card with the help of your mobile phone and also you can reformat it with other computer, this method can help you to solve your problem and if you the problem is not cleadred than you can contact your sd card manufecturer to provide some solution related to your problem. As i am sure that the transcend company provides lifetime warranty, if its a card problem then yo can ask them to replace it or to repair it as it is in warranty period. |

You can check it with the card reader i think it may be the card reader problem. As you said that you card reader is unable to read your sd card and it doesn't show any removable disk in the computer. You need to check the cable which is used to connect between card reader and the computer. Most probably the wires in the cable get seperated and it is the reason why you are facing the problem. You can try with other cable for connection and see wheather your problem is solved or not. |

As wiro suggested that you need to check with the card reader. Have you checked out by inserting your card in your phone if your phone reads the card then you don't need a card reader to transfer data from the computer to the mobile. You can connect your phone with the computer via usb and bluetooth, and also there are drivers available which helps our phone to connect to the computer. You can connect your mobile by using pc suite which helps to transfer data and manage all the data of our phone. |

You can use these steps by which you can be able to read your memory card in your system. You can try going to the phones settings then to the SD card and phone storage there make sure that the use of the USB storage box is checked, and also you have to try by clicking on the option unmount and eject sd card and after that relaod the sd card. Also you need to make sure that when you transfer the files from one location to the phone via usb cable, first disconnect the usb cable that can allow the phone to read the data that you transferred.
