Motorola Quench Touch smartphone
The U.S. manufacturer Motorola has benefited from global trade fair for mobile phones in Barcelona, Spain, to unveil a new smartphone Android 1.5, code named Cupcake.
Format piece and answering to the name of Quench, this smartphone displays the dimensions 11.7 x 6 x 1.3 cm and a weight of 130 grams.
Compatible with GSM / GPRS / EDGE quad-band 850 / 900 / 1 800 / 1 900 MHz, UMTS / HSDPA triband 900 / 1 700 / 2 100 MHz and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g, it has a capacitive touch interface ( fingers only) 3.1-inch display capable of 65 356 colors in a resolution 320 x 480 pixels with proximity sensor for disabling the touch panel (to avoid inadvertently support when we approach the handset to your ear) and accelerometer for rotating the display.
As for equipment, it also offers GPS navigation, digital camera 5 megapixels with autofocus and function of geotagging, a video player with 3.5 mm audio output for headphones, a shelter for memory cards microSD / microSDHC up 32 GB (2 GB card is also provided), a microUSB 2.0 port and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
The manufacturer has opted for a Lithium-Polymer battery with a capacity of 1 420 mAh for autonomy of a day in standard use and 450 hours / 500 hours standby 3G / 2G.
The Quench Motorola touchscreen smartphone will be available by the end of the first quarter. It remains to know the price, nothing had filtered about it.
