HTC 3400i does not get detected on Computer

I am using the HTC 3400i and having problem with the same as i am trying to connect it to the computer and my HTC 3400i does not get detected on Computer. I have installed the driver for the same. After getting this problem i have uninstall the driver and reinstalled but that also does not work for me. So if any one had same problem and got the solution of the same then advise me the same. Thanks in advance

It is little bit difficult as you have reinstalled the driver for the same and still unable to connect the HTC device. So you better check for the cable of your USB. It could be possible that your USB cable might behaving improper so change the cable then try to connect the device again. I hope that it might help you. If yes then let me know about the same.

It could be possible that your USB port on phone might got corrupted that is why you are unable to connect your phone to the computer. The HTC 3400i connects the headphone and the USB cable together with the same USB port which is the disadvantage of the phone which causes the malfunction of the USB port on the phone.

Check for the ActiveSync is installed on the Computer is functioning properly or not. Some times the installation of the ActiveSync got corrupted from the computer that is why the phone is not connecting to the computer. So installed the ActiveSync from the CD that is given with the phone and see that whether the phone can be detected this time or not. Thank you

Hey make the Enable advanced USB functions on the phone so that your device can detect the phone. I have got the my phone is unable to connect to the computer and i have make the Enable advanced USB functions on the phone from the setting and the device start working so so the same on your phone and see that this work or not.

This can be possible that the Driver IC in the Phone has gone bad and needs to be replaced. So take it to the repairing shop and get it checked that the IC is working properly or not. If this is the problem then it need to be replaced the driver IC and the your phone will start connecting to the computer. So do the needful.
