Why not it can be use but you have to do various tests for it. Do some tests to see if the image is of sufficient quality. I don't think so the image quality will be same as cctv.

Off, if you want to leave your computer permanently turn .... Especially since the thief will steal you computer and webcam, so you'll never know who it is. Buy more spy cameras hidden in jars. The image resolution is poor and it costs 240$ minimum, but it's useful and it has a range of more than 20 hours depending on the version.

Re: Use webcam as cctv?

Then, although my computer skills are limited, I can hardly understand why any camera can not do the trick. Let's see if the more "bad". I leave the webcam enovia the information it collects on the screen of my computer and I use a program that saves the desktop (like those used, for example, to make a tutorial). Technically, it would work, but it would take much space. I'll try the software at home, when the webcam it seems to me a very interesting choice, remains to be seen whether I can get me in Quebec without exorbitant shipping costs. (I'll check with the retailers, but the last time I went I was referred from Logitech, but I find their equipment a little expensive) Maybe ebay will be there.

the problem is: 72 hours of recording .

it will take you a hard drive of a TB (1000GB) for any store .

whereas with a motion sensor, a webcam and start cutting herself

In short; the non-authoritative answer is 'yes'. Download and install Dorgem and start it, select your Webcam from the Camera selection drop-down list. It is the program, you man be looking for.
