Strange sound from macbook pro

Hello,

Here I have my MacBook Pro , and since the last time MacBook Pro made a strange noise. Its made a noise like a some touched the fan, I feel that the noise comes from the right of the trackpad. This noise occurs when the MacBook is not completely flat and very often it is very annoying. As happens after the warranty finished I wonder if it is not that I sent from Apple? But I have not found on the site something that could help me . Can anyone tell me if it has already done and how can I do?

I had exactly the same problem. I faced this issue with brand new macbook pro and i immediately send it in replacement and i got a replacement. Since your warranty is over now the apple people will charge you to make it correct.

Where did you sent it for replace? Which city you living?

You took the papers for it (invoices etc?)

Apple handed back away just a new macbook or repaired one?

I brought in a guaranteed APR 24 hours later and it was brand new.

APR = = Apple Premium Reseller Apple authorized reseller (better than a FNAC or Darty )

Normally, you will need the invoice. I have not even needed the bill because, with the serial number that was enough. It does me no change (which is normal I think). On the Apple site, you can find the list of repairers normally.

Sounds like there is a convention Mac truck in your MBP! use a toothpick to reset the port! Normally this is caused by something that resonates. On some graphics cards, there is an inductor or a capacitor that resonates with a sound similar. The sharp tone would change depending on the load on the graphics card.

What you should do is make an appointment in a local Apple store to discuss and show your problem to someone, or call AppleCare to discuss your problem. They can not help you if you ask them. I hope they can help you solve your audio problem - but unfortunately you will not receive a formal response, nor a perfect solution if you contact them directly
