Delayed text messages and voicemail notifications on iPhone

Hello everybody,

I am facing some issue with iPhone, from few days i am receiving text message delay. But if i try to sent out any message then it works fine but at the same time if anyone has send me any message it takes an hour to receive it on my iPhone. When the message comes it comes all together one after the other it look likes someone has spam me. Does anyone facing such kind of issue ?

It seems that there is some problem with your carrier because of which you are facing message delay in that case i would suggest you to talk with your your carrier support and tell them about the issue, they will definitely help you out with this or it might happen that you would had selected some option because of which you are message are getting delayed.

I had try to call up AT&T support and they told me that had done the necessary setting on my number but still i am facing the same issue, when i asked one of my friend about the issue he told me to reset my phone, but that also didn't helped me. Any ideas would be highly appreciated.

I am also facing similar type of issue with my Google voice where i am trying to send free sms or voicemail where it takes a long time for sending and receiving it. At the same time my iPhone checks email after 15 minutes which means a SMS text message may be delayed to deliver for 15 minutes. Does anyone knows any solution or know any service which can send and receive text message very fast.

In that case i would suggest you to use Google Voice SMS because in this everyone can send you SMS text messages and for that they don't have an iPhone neither any software install on his mobile phone because it's an native SMS service where your friends can call you or send you an email on a phone number and if they want they can also make a call from any phone.
