Cannot restore iphone error 13

I am facing some issue with my iPhone today by accidentally i had unplugged my iPhone while it was in the process of updating. When i try to start my iPhone it was not working well so i try to restore it, but that also didn't helped me a lot. I had also try to use recovery mode but that didn't help either. When i am trying to do this i am getting and message which says that Preparing iPhone for Restore, then fail with error 13 or error 1611.

I was also getting error 13 message when attempting to restore an iPhone or iPod touch. I tried out many solution but none of them worked out for me when i told my friend he told me to place my iPod touch into DFU Mode and told me to restore my iPod and at the same time he also told me to use different computer, or reinstalling both iTunes and Apple Mobile Device and it had worked for me hope it works for you too.

Thanks for your advice but Jannat can you tell me what steps i need to follow for entering into DFU Mode, i try to find out a lot over internet but none of them gave me proper steps and i cannot take my iPhone to Apple service center because i had jailbreak my iPhone.

For entering into DFU mode you need to first connect your Iphone to your computer and then turn off your iPhone for that you may have to hold the power and home buttons down together to force the phone off. Once your iPhone gets switch off again hold the power and home buttons together for 10 seconds exactly, after some time release the power button but keep holding home until the computer recognizes that a USB device was plugged in, nwo your itunes should detect your iPhone correctly, and also allow you to restore to the factory default settings.

My friend there is one more alternative method too for entering into DFU Mode first of all you need to connect your iPhone to USB and then you will get sound whenever you are trying to connect and disconnect it. Then Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button. Finally wait until you hear another sound then release home button.
