You are having the problem with the Audio output to the LCD TV which you are having at your place. You are able to see the video on the LCD TV at your home but you are not able to hear the Audio of the movie. So that you are having the problems with the Audio output from the LG RD560 laptop when using the HDMI cable for connecting the laptop and the LCD TV. May be this can be the simple Audio settings problem in your laptop only. So first check all the audio device setting of your laptop.

You have not mentioned in your query that this HDMI port of your laptop is on the motherboard or else this is on the Graphic card that you have attached later in your LG laptop. If you are having the HDMI Port on the separate graphic card then might be this is the driver software problem. Install the driver for this graphic card once again from the installation disc which is provided with the graphic card by the manufacturer. Most probably this method will fix this HDMI Audio problem.

You said that you are able to see the video on the television screen and the problem is with only the Audio from the HDMI Connection of the LG Laptop to the LCD TV. First of all check the normal audio setting of the laptop and also check the audio setting of the LCD Television. May be the problem with the sound setting of your LCD television and you are thinking that this is the problem of the Laptop HDMI Port.

If you are using some other software for controlling the Audio devices connected to your laptop like the Realtek HD Audio manager then i think this can be the real issue because of which you are getting this HDMI audio problem with your LG laptop when you are connecting to the LCD TV. Start this software and check the audio output setting for the HDMI connection. Change the settings to the default or make the settings wherever necessary.

IF all the things and the settings are proper for the HDMI Audio output then there can be only one problem i can see for this HDMI Audio issue. I think the HDMI cable that you are using for connecting the LG Laptop and the LCD TV is not proper. I will recommend you to change this HDMI Cable and take the new one. Now this will work properly for you. You will be able to see the Video as well as the you can listen the audio from the LCD television.
