    Problem in removing virus from Nokia N79

    I am having the Nokia n79 mobile phone and i think this phone is infected with the virus. Because this mobile phone's processing has become very slow as compared to before. I have formatted the memory card for removing the virus from the mobile phone. So there is a Problem in removing virus from Nokia N79. How can i deal with this issue? I want to know that how the cell phones get affected by the viruses?

    Your Nokia N79 mobile phone is infected with the virus and you are not able to remove it from your mobile phone. So i think you should download and install the antivirus software compatible software for your Nokia N79 mobile phone. There are many antivirus softwares available. One of them is the antivirus of the symmentac. Install the software and search for the viruses. If found any then delete those viruses.

    Here is the some details about how the mobile viruses spread. In the starting the mobile viruses were different from the computer virus , they used to spread through the Bluetooth and MMS. But now as the Functionality of the .NET programming the platform is now integrated with the WinCE has enabled the coders or the writers of the viruses to exploit more using the Emails also.

    The Kaspersky Lab has done the detailed study and research on the mobile viruses. And found the following characteristics of the mobile viruses.
    1. Spread over Bluetooth and MMS
    2. Dispatch SMS/MMS
    3. Infection of files
    4. Enable external access to smart phones
    5. Exchange file icons and system applications
    6. Modify fonts and installation of applications
    7. Bypass anti-virus functions
    8. Install other harming programs
    9. Block memory cards
    10. Enable information theft


    Mobile viruses has the functionality same as the computer viruses.

    If you are able to see any characteristics of the mobile viruses in your Nokia N79 mobile phone then your mobile phone is definitely infected with the virus. The best way to remove the viruses from the mobile is to flash the mobile phone. You cannot remove the virus by formatting the memory card because the virus is attached or infected the system files of the mobile phone.

    3. Infect Files
    4. Send infected files to other mobiles through email, WiFi, Bluetooth etc
