No audio and video output from Zune MP3 Player

Hi,

I have recently purchased Zune HD Players 32 gb. My problem is that I have no audio and video output from Zune MP3 Player ? There is no TV output on the screen ?? What is the problem ??? Should I need to replace it ???

This problem may occur if one of the following conditions:

* The dock is not receiving power.
* The cables to the dock not connected correctly.
* The player who is connected is not configured correctly.
* The dock did not detect that the Zune player was inserted.

You need to ensure that all cables are fully inserted and secure the HD and Zune AV Dock v4 and on TV or the receiver is connected to HD & Zune AV Dock v4. Remove the player from the dock, and then reinsert it.The dock should detect the player. Then try playing it .

Have you tried restarting the Zune player. Follow the instructions for the type of player you have:

* Zune player HD: Hold down the On / Off button for about 10 seconds until you restart the player.

* No touchscreen Zune player: the HOLD switch to the unlocked position, then press and hold the Back button

while pressing the top of the Zune platform. When the Zune device begins to restart, you can release the buttons.

Have you checked whether the TV or receiver is On?? Some TVs or receivers may have multiple input connectors, such as Video 1 and Video 2. Ensure that the wires are connected to the correct input jacks, and that television or receiver is configured to use that input source.

Make sure the player has the latest update. Connect the player to a computer that has the latest Zune software installed, then update the player to the latest version. And follow the steps below:

1. On the main screen on the player, click Settings.
2. Tap on the screen.
3. Touch TV output.
4. Select HDMI or composite, depending on how you connect the dock to your TV.
