    Blackberry 8320 vs iPhone

Hi i am planning to buy BlackBerry but before that i need advice on iPhone. Wanted to check which one is better. BlackBerry 8320 or iPhone? What are the extra features offer by BlackBerry 8320 over iPhone? I know The BlackBerry Curve is available for AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint & T-Mobile.

The iPhone is an Internet-enabled multimedia mobile phone designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It has a multi-touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons, but a minimal amount of hardware input. Weighing only 3.9 ounces and measuring 0.6 inches thick, the light and sleek Curve 8320 looks nearly identical to the AT&T-branded model. The iPhone's functions include those of a camera phone and portable media player (equivalent to the iPod) in addition to text messaging and visual voicemail.

Physically, the 8320 is the same as the original BlackBerry Curve, though it comes in two different colors, titanium gray or gold. The iPhone interface is also the best I have seen. Very easy to use and intuitive. It hides all the complexity that a normal user wouldn’t use. 8320 features the same thin and light design, a small but very usable QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera, and a gorgeous 320-by-240 display.

The iPhone is a great phone to read emails on and ideally, if you don't sent back a lengthy reply, you should be more than happy with the experience. The HTML email and image attachment handling is impeccable too. Disadvantage : No video calls over the 3G network, the handset wobbles on hard even surfaces, there are a number of messaging downers, Camera has no auto focus, nor video recording… nor any settings at all.

Curve comes with the usual suite of BlackBerry applications, including a modified version of the Zen theme with support for T-Mobile's MyFaves (you can turn off the MyFaves features if you don't use that service). With iphone You can’t edit emails once they are in the outbox but not yet sent. No option to send electronic business cards like Palm, Nokia and other cellphones. The Curve 8320 with 312-MHz processor provides snappy performance; the 2-MP camera takes sharp pictures without much of a shutter delay (but doesn't capture video); and the bundled Roxio software makes transferring music, photos, and videos to the device easy.

The BlackBerry 8320 has excellent voice quality over GSM. Calls are clear, background noise isn't intrusive and volume is good.Since OS 2.0, the iPhone has a had support for Microsoft exchange, my favorite work-email back-end. To expand the storage space for data (but not application installation), the BlackBerry comes with an SDHC microSD card slot and you can use up to 4 GB cards or greater to store your data .
