How can i restrict the use of the USB?

Hello Friend, I have a small issue regarding the USB drive. I want to and for that i need your help because i don't know how to do the same. I wish to do that any one who uses the PC will install the virus in the same. So help me regarding the same and do the needful for me. A help may be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Waiting for reply

Hey, If you wish to disable the use of the USB on your computer then you have to make the change in the registry that will disable the same and the installation of the new USB too. To do the same you need to follow the step given below that will help you to resolve the issue of yours.
  1. Click on the Start
  2. Go to the Run
  3. Type "regedit" on the Run Box
  4. After that a window will appear navigate the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \System \CurrentControlSet \Services \UsbStor]Start = 4
  5. This will help you to the solve the issue of your.

Hi there, I will suggest you to use the following file if the USB is not yet installed on your system this will restrict the use of the same. If you use the file given below then this deny request of the user regrading the installation of the new USB drive. The files are as given below
Code:
%SystemRoot%\Inf\Usbstor.pnf
%SystemRoot%\Inf\Usbstor.inf
This will stop the installation of the USB every time when user or the group will try to install the same. So use these file and see the change. Bye

Follow the procedure that i am providing you. This will help you to resolve the issue of yours. Say thank if you like the same. Thank you
  • Go to the start menu
  • And then to the Run and type regedit on it
  • Now registry window will appear.
  • Double click the HKEY LOCAL MACHINE and the to the sysetm
  • Go to the Current Control Set and click Services
  • Now look for the USBSTOR key
  • Now on the right pane check the values
  • Click on the start
  • There you will fine the value as 3 make it to 4
  • Click on the OK to finish it

Hey here is something that i got from the Microsoft. I think that it will help you regarding the problem you are facing, So get the help with this step :
  • Start Windows Explorer, and then locate the %SystemRoot%\Inf folder.
  • Right-click the Usbstor.pnf file, and then click Properties.
  • Click the Security tab.
  • In the Group or user names list, add the user or group that you want to set Deny permissions for.
  • In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control.
  • Note Also add the System account to the Deny list.
  • In the Group or user names list, select the SYSTEM account.
  • In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control, and then click OK.
  • Right-click the Usbstor.inf file, and then click Properties.
  • Click the Security tab.
  • In the Group or user names list, add the user or group that you want to set Deny permissions for.
  • In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control.
  • In the Group or user names list, select the SYSTEM account.
  • In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control, and then click OK.

Hi there, I have the same issue but i have tried lots of the thing to resolve the same but nothing works for me.
