Working with eMails On Nokia N900

Hi, I have just bough new Nokia N900 and now wanted to send email from it. But, the problem is I am no able to send the EMails on the nokia N900. If anyone is having idea about it. Please, help me to get that. I am able to receive emails on it. What exactly the problem. Please reply me as soon as possible.

Hi, I am not having Nokia N900, but you can get this details from your manual. You need to check that first. I think you will get all the details about it overthere. So, just check about it and if you are not able to send the emails from it then you need to contact to the Nokia Gallery or the shop from which you bought thsi Nokia N900. So, just check it. I think this will solve your problem. As you are able to receive mails, I don't think that there would be any problem while sending it.

Hi, I think if you are able to receive the email in your new bought Nokia N900, then you must be able to send also. So, if you are not able to send the EMails from it then you need to check your port number is correct or not. It will be port 465 if it is using SSL. And also just check you user information such as accounts username and passwords are typed correctly or not. So, check your setting regarding the outgoing mails and then if you not able to solve your problem then simply call to help center.

Hello, I am not getting the problem of you. Are you getting problem while sending emails? or you don't know how to send emails from the N900? So, please explain this first. This is quiet rare problem that you will not able to send emails from Nokia mobile due to the incorrect configuration of email provider's SMTP server settings or it may also possible that email provider of your mobile will not allow Nokia Messaging to send email through their server. • Login to your account at email.nokia site.
• Click on Edit Settings account which is receiving error.
• Now, click on Change Server Settings and remove all information from it.
• Uncheck SSL Required for outgoing mailserver.
