how to remote desktop using mobile

Hi Guys,
Its cool to be here.

I would like to know some mobile under 15k rupees using which I can remote desktop and use my server.


Are there any apps out there for this purpose?

Also what speeds (internet) should I have to have decent performance

Hi friend, I have use one of the Sony Erricson Mobile which is inbuilt with the facility of the Bluetooth remote to handle the desktop. The one which i had is Sony Ericsson K750i which is not costly now days. So check the product of the same. Thanks

You can go for Samsung Corby phone or samsung star 3g phone as your mobile phone. It would cost you around less than 15k. Also install he application RDM remote desktop for mobiles. This will help you to use the phone as you needed.

Thank You but I am looking to remote desktop across cities and not few meters.

This is great stuff. I am interested in samsung corby but was not sure whether rdp app can be installed.


Can you point me to the application. Sadly google was not of any help.

What I learned was that most windows mobiles support rdp apps but I would hate it if I end up with one that doesnt support rdp.

Remote Desktop support from your mobile I would suggest Team Viewer or Logmein but this apps wud work on HTC and Nokia and other brands. Check them out they are pretty cool I sue them both.

what model are you using bro?


I use teamviewer on my pc but I have my concerns regarding speed when I use via mobile.

HTC Pro 2 mate, it will all depends how you use the apps and for what, I would not worry about speed cause you connecting via a server, for more copler uses I wouls suggest Logmein and for simple task Temavieer

Does htc pro2 have run command?

If yes can you paste this and tell me whether you get a rdp window?

Sorry for delay yes it does work, but one think if your 3G isnt good enought you might have some issues unless you are connected on wireless that is more reliable.

I do not buy many fancy phones either but most of Windows OS will work with this kind of software.
