As per your information it seems that you transfer only songs name of your old iTunes library via restored library. If you want to restore your old library, then you also want to copy all that songs from your old computer to new. First transfer your all songs from your old computer and now try to open old restored library in itune. Now you are able to view old restored library.

It seems that you might have install new version of itunes in your new computer. Your new version of itunes does not support your old restored library file. In this case you have to install old version of itunes in your new computer, that you had install in your old computer. Now try to open that restored library file. I think now you are able to open old library.

It seems that you are using itunes of 64 bit version. And you have use itunes with 32 bit version in old computer. That's why you get this problem. Your old itunes file can not be open in your new itunes version. To over come this problem you have to install itunes with 32 bit version in your new computer to open old library file.
I think my suggestion will help you.
