Backlight goes dim on Dell inspiron 1545

Hi everybody.

I have a laptop dell inspiron 1545, Sometimes i will work on that, the backlight suddenly goes down dim and i will face the problem the problem even i recognize the letter or word on that. Can anybody help me in this issue. I am using windows XP on my system and frequently most of time i am using MS word on that and also like playing video.

Some time if your battery of your Laptop goes down or below 10% , the backlight will automatically goes dim, So do not need to bother just plug your battery every time when you are working with your laptop. Because i will facing same issue before that i am purchasing a laptop. you will also increase the contrast of your laptop. It is better option to you. Enjoy.

Can i know what is the brightness of your laptop. You know how to increase your laptop brightness. I will suggest you to step the increase the brightness of your laptop : Just press function key + F4 key to decrease and function key + F5 to increase the brightness. Just try that i will sure this is the best solution.

May be your laptop may have some power setting problem. You should change your power problem in XP by follow step : Go on start, control panel and click on performance and maintenance and click power option . In that dialog box you will set option for power scheme. Already it have some built XP power scheme profile. But if you want to change that just tune any power scheme profile and save as your power scheme name and set as your power scheme.
